La Plonge Solar and Battery Energy Storage System Project Under Construction in Northern Saskatchewan

Aurora Renewables, in collaboration with Des Nedhe Group and Extropic Energy Inc., is proud to support the La Plonge Solar and Battery Energy Storage System — a groundbreaking clean energy project 100% owned by English River First Nation.
The system will deliver 750 kW of solar power and 1 MWh of battery storage, cutting emissions by up to 500 tCO₂e annually while creating jobs and training opportunities for Indigenous workers.
